more Beaches...

I was messing around in the darkroom yesterday, on these old but unseen photos of Beaches in the studio. This was late last year at Head Gap in Melbourne.

Last night I was in the darkroom, and came across this neg whilst looking for something else. I remember it well and can't believe it has been 15 years since I took this photo. Suburban Newcastle, backyard party, at 16 years old. We were just kids, yet we thought we were so cool! Oh dear.

I would like to get around to printing more photos I took as a teenager, however most of them are of people skateboarding - an obsession of mine back then it seems
