Last night I was in the darkroom, and came across this neg whilst looking for something else. I remember it well and can't believe it has been 15 years since I took this photo. Suburban Newcastle, backyard party, at 16 years old. We were just kids, yet we thought we were so cool! Oh dear.

ha! this is so great! and just a couple weeks ago i came across an article or piece from BBC- a stock of "vintage" 80s photos. I AM NOT VINTAGE i wanted to scream. but then i thought- eh- nothing wrong with vintage, yes? but damn, my era has gone VINTAGE? the photos were crazy funny.
ReplyDeleteHa, it is a worry isn't it. I work at a high school, and one day I overheard a student saying 'I wish I was alive in the 80's, cause I LOVE the 80's!'. I must mention she was dressed very 'material girl era' Madonna at the time...
