Mt Alexander Fruit Gardens

A couple of months back, Sarah and I had the pleasure of roadtrippin' out to the Mt Alexander Fruit Gardens in Harcourt, Victoria (just past Castlemaine). We were there on Yen Magazine business, but it did not feel at all like work! Katie and Hugh, who own and run the organic orchard were so welcoming. They let us roam around the property, and sent us away with a brown paper bag full of delicious and freshly picked stone fruits. If you live in Victoria, you can sample their produce at a number of different Farmers Markets.

Check out the article in this months Yen.

Shop Visit - Mr Kitly for Yen

The latest edition of Yen Magazine was released today, and my photography accompanies two great articles. These are some extra images from my visit to the most excellent Mr Kitly shop and gallery, which features in 'Mode' this issue. It's a wonderful space, tucked away upstairs on Sydney Road, Brunswick - coincidentally the gallery is playing host to my upcoming exhibition 'Neither Excluded Nor Included', which opens next Friday 9th September (more to come on that later).

Be sure to pick up the new mag! Features 2 new and delicious Trotski & Ash recipes to boot!

Outtakes

I photographed the home of Nadia Mizner and Steph Hughes for the current issue of Yen Magazine. Here are a handful of shots that didn't make the spread! These girls have a most impressive collection of haphazard plants. Check out the rest of the shots and a Q & A with the ladies in Yen #51

Americano

Scans from the new Yen Magazine, currently on sale. I can vouch for both these recipes, yum! Best (soft) pretzels I've ever tasted.
